Our Housing Needs Assessments are designed for iwi seeking to deliver services that enable pathways to home ownership while also contributing to housing stability by offering wraparound solutions for great tenants. This includes whānau in social housing programmes—transitional, assisted, and private. There is no limit on the number of participants.

Significance

Moeā housing need assessments provide an early indication to whānau of where they sit on the housing continuum, with recommendations on the next steps to take.

Our Process

The Moeā team's custom-designed surveys are used to collect and collate home
ownership and housing continuum data.

The Moeā team will provide a strategy to maximise participation and support the successful collection and collation of survey data.

The Iwi or community being assessed manages the campaign, collecting and collating
the responses.

The Moeā team receive data and drafts the report, including a set of recommendations on next steps.
