Whānau in the Pre-qualification Phase

Have been interviewed by Moeā team and have completed or are completing home ownership milestones including financial literacy programme/s

Have an initial estimate of how much they might be able to borrow

Self-reported financial information covering income, assets, debts, and credit history to factor budget, savings, and any funding assistance

Have completed a credit check to ensure there are no anticipated red flags against their name

Have a scheduled date to move to the pre-approval phase

Have completed a formal assessment of how much they can borrow and are deemed "a serious and qualified buyer"

Qualified by verified financial information including income, assets, debts, and credit history

Have completed a detailed credit check and thorough review of financial history

Have filed supporting documents including pay slips, bank statements and Moeā Home Ownership endorsements

Have scheduled a date to purchase/move into their home
